Iraq Signs Unit-Building Contract With Turkey’s Bilal Insaat

Iraq signed a $55 million contract with Turkey’s Bilal Insaat to build 1,200 housing units in the northern province of Kirkuk, according to the Kirkuk investment commission.
The residential compound, New Haweeja City, will be built within 30 months in al-Haweeja town in Kirkuk province, which needs 15,000 units to satisfy demand, the commission said in an e-mailed statement today.
