Aeroflot April Passengers Numbers Rise 29.2% to 1.34 Mln

OAO Aeroflot, Russia’s biggest airline, carried 1.34 million passengers in April, 29.2 percents more than a year earlier.

The load factor, or percent of seats occupied, was 77.3 percent, or 0.3 percentage points, higher than in April 2011, said company today in a statement.

January to April passenger numbers climbed 29.3 percent to 4.9 million, while load factor declined 0.2 percentage points to 74.6 percent, according to the statement.
