Circle May Bid to Manage U.K. Public Hospital, Telegraph Says

Circle Holdings Ltd. (CIRC), the first private health-care company to manage a public hospital in the U.K., is poised to bid for another contract, the Sunday Telegraph said, citing the company’s chief executive officer, Ali Parsa.

The board of the 344-bed George Eliot hospital is open to public and private sector partners, the newspaper said, citing the hospital’s chief executive officer Kevin McGee. The hospital is exploring options with Circle, Serco Group Plc (SRP), Care UK Ltd and three public hospitals pending Department of Health approval, the newspaper reported, without saying where it got the information.
