Rajon Rondo had 21 points and 10 assists and the host Boston Celtics won 101-91 to pull within a game of the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association’s Eastern Conference finals.

Miami, which got 34 points from LeBron James, still leads two games to one in the best-of-seven playoff series.

Kevin Garnett had 24 points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics and Paul Pierce scored 23 points at TD Garden in Boston, which will host Game 4 on June 3.

Dwyane Wade had 18 points for Miami.

The winner of the series will face either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals. San Antonio leads the Western Conference finals two games to one, with Game 4 set for tomorrow evening in Oklahoma City.
