Taiwan Stocks: Kinsus Interconnect Technology, Wistron
Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Taiwan trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Taipei. The benchmark Taiex Index gained 0.6 percent to 7,301.50. The gauge fell 2.7 percent this month, its third month of losses.
Kinsus Interconnect Technology Corp. (3189) (3189 TT) retreated 1.1 percent to NT$86.50. The electronics circuit board maker may see weaker-than-expected May sales, according to a Barclays Plc report. Jack Mu, a spokesman for Kinsus, didn’t answer a call to his office.
Wistron Corp. (3231) (3231 TT) dropped 3.8 percent to NT$37.90. The laptop maker cut its second-quarter shipments forecast, the Commercial Times reported. Henry Lin, a spokesman for the company, didn’t immediately answer a call to his office.
