Mali Opens Inquiry Into Senior Aides of Ex Leader, Journal Says

A court in Mali began a judicial inquiry into 10 high-ranking military and police officials who were close to ousted President Amadou Toure, according to Journal du Mali.
The officers, including Toure’s former personal chief of staff, are suspected of infringing on state security, Journal said on its website, citing prosecutor Sombe Thera.
