Gazprom Sets Up Slovenian Joint Venture for South Stream Section

OAO Gazprom (GAZP), Russia’s natural-gas export monopoly, agreed to set up a 50-50 joint venture to build the planned South Stream pipeline through Slovenia.
The agreement with Slovenia’s Plinovodi d.o.o was signed during Gazprom Chief Executive Officer Alexey Miller’s visit to the central European country, the Moscow-based company said today in an e-mailed statement.
