England’s Lampard to Miss Soccer’s Euro 2012 With Thigh Injury

England midfielder Frank Lampard will miss the European soccer championship with a thigh injury, the Football Association said on its website.

Chelsea’s Lampard was injured yesterday in training and ruled out of the tournament following a scan today. Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson will replace him in the squad, pending approval from UEFA’s medical team, the F.A. said.
