China Looks to Boost Sino-Arab Trade to $300 Billion by 2014

China hopes to boost trade with Arab nations by about 50 percent by 2014, the Asian nation’s foreign minister said today.

Yang Jiechi said China is looking to increase trade to $300 billion by that date. The minister was speaking at the China- Arab States Cooperation Forum in the Tunisian city of Hammamet. He said Arab nations collectively are China’s seventh largest trading partner.
