Italian Government Bonds Decline; 10-Year Yield Rises to 5.84%

Italian government bonds fell, pushing the 10-year yield up seven basis points, or 0.07 percentage point, to 5.84 percent as of 7:42 a.m. London time.

The nation’s two-year yield climbed 16 basis points to 4.24 percent.

Spain’s 10-year bonds also declined, leaving the yield seven basis points higher at 6.51 percent. The two-year rate also rose seven basis points to 4.70 percent.
