Allot Surges Toward Record, Narrows Gap With U.S. Traded Shares

Allot Communications Ltd. (ALLT) headed for the highest close on record, narrowing the gap with the U.S.- traded stock of the Israeli maker of high-speed networking equipment.
The shares of the Hod Hasharon, Israel-based company advanced 7.9 percent, the most since May 1 in intraday trading, to 101.3 shekels, or the equivalent of $26.14, at 10:30 a.m. in Tel Aviv. The stock added 11 percent to $26.40 in New York yesterday.
