The 34-year-old, a free agent because his Chelsea contract is expiring, is thinking over whether to team up again with former Blues manager Jose Mourinho, the Mail said.

Torres Stays

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has persuaded striker Fernando Torres to stay with the team, the Independent reported.

The Spaniard had said he would review his situation after not starting the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

Saha Goes

Tottenham has released striker Louis Saha five months after he joined from Everton, the Sun reported.

The 33-year-old could move to West Ham, which is seeking experienced players after winning promotion, the Sun said.

France Concern

France coach Laurent Blanc says his team isn’t ready to face England in their Euro 2012 opener on June 11, the Daily Mirror reported.

France had to rally to beat Iceland 3-2 in a warm-up game.
