ISRAEL DAYBOOK: Iran Increased Output of Enriched Uranium

Iran increased its output of enriched uranium, which world powers are concerned may eventually be used for a nuclear weapon, according to International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors. Israel hasn’t ruled out a military strike against Iran.
EQUITY MOVERS:
* Globe Exploration LP (GLEX IT), a gas exploration company,
will halt exploration drilling at the Ofek-1 site.
* Osem Investments Ltd. (OSEM IT), a food producer, reported
first-quarter net income of 93.5 million shekels ($24 million)
from 93.1 million shekels in the year-earlier period.
* Strauss Group Ltd. (STRS IT), a food producer, is scheduled
to report its first-quarter earnings today.
MARKETS:
* The TA-25 Index increased 0.6 percent to 1,050.92 on May 24.
* The yield on the Mimshal Shiklit government bond due January
2022 was at 4.45 percent.
* The shekel strengthened 0.3 percent to 3.8443 a dollar at 8:30
a.m. in Tel Aviv.
* Crude oil for July delivery rose 0.9 percent to $91.64 a
barrel.
* Gold for immediate delivery climbed 0.4 percent to $1,578.53
an ounce.
* Corn for July delivery was unchanged at $5.7850 a bushel on
May 25.
