Centrica Halts U.K. South Humber 1 Gas Unit for Planned Repairs

Centrica Plc (CNA) halted Unit 1 of its South Humber Bank gas-fired plant in Lincolnshire in east England yesterday, according to National Grid Plc (NG/) data.
The 765-megawatt unit was halted for planned repairs and will start tomorrow, a Centrica spokeswoman who declined to be identified by name said by telephone.
Centrica’s 490-megawatt Unit 2 at South Humber, which halted on May 25, is available to generate electricity, according to National Grid data.
