Persian Gulf Stocks: Emaar of U.A.E., Commercial Bank of Kuwait

Dubai’s DFM General Index (DFMGI) rose less than 0.1 percent to 1,480.35 at the 2 p.m. close in the emirate. Kuwait’s SE Price Index lost 1 percent, the most since Sept. 25.

The following shares were active in the Persian Gulf region. Stock symbols are in parentheses.

Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR) climbed as much as 1.4 percent to 2.92 dirhams before paring gains to 2.90 dirhams. The developer of the world’s tallest skyscraper in Dubai said its ‘Panorama at the Views’ residences were sold out.

Commercial Bank of Kuwait SAK (CBK KK) fell 3.9 percent, the most since May 16, to 750 fils. The Kuwaiti lender said it received a six-month extension for a share buy-back program.
