Spanish 10-Year Bonds Slide as Italian Two-Year Notes Decline

Spanish 10-year bonds fell, pushing the yield on the securities three basis points higher to 6.30 percent at 7:53 a.m. London time.

The rate on five-year Spanish securities increased four basis points to 5.42 percent, while the two-year yield was little changed at 4.18 percent.

The yield on Italian two-year notes advanced for a seventh day, climbing two basis points to 3.77 percent. Five-year yields added three basis points to 5.09 percent and the rate on 10-year bonds was little changed at 5.82 percent.
