Deutsche Telekom Expects Sky Soccer Deal, Tagesspiegel Reports

Deutsche Telekom AG (DTE) expects to reach an agreement with Sky Deutschland AG (SKYD) to cooperate on broadcasting rights for Germany’s Bundesliga soccer matches, Der Tagesspiegel reported, citing management board member Niek Jan van Damme.

Sky and Deutsche Telekom are in talks, van Damme told the German newspaper, according to a preview of an article for tomorrow’s edition. Sky will be prepared to resell some parts of broadcasting rights after paying a high price for them, Der Tagesspiegel cited van Damme as saying.
