Korea East-West Power Seeks to Buy Fuel Oil for Delivery in June

Korea East-West Power Co., one of the generating units of Korea Electric Power Corp. (015760), is seeking to buy fuel oil for delivery in June, according to a notice on its website.
Details of the company’s planned purchase are as follow:

Products: Fuel oil
Quantity: Two cargoes of 50,000 metric tons each
Sulfur: Maximum 2.5 percent
Viscosity: Maximum of 540 centistokes
Delivery: One cargo from June 13 to June 17, one from June
26 to June 30
Port: Ulsan
Offers Close: May 25, 2 p.m. local time

The oil’s centistoke rating is a measure of its viscosity, or flow rate, when heated.
