Egypt’s FIHC Agrees to Buy 30,000 Metric Tons Sunflower Oil

Egypt’s state-owned Food Industries Holding Co. agreed to buy 30,000 metric tons of sunflower oil and 19,950 tons of soybean oil at a tender today, said Abdel Sattar Soliman, the company’s vice chairman.

FIHC bought the sunflower oil at $1,179.97 a ton from Louis Dreyfus, Soliman said. It bought 6,300 tons of soybean oil from Alex Seeds at 7,100 Egyptian pounds a ton, and 13,650 tons of soybean oil at the same price from Wataneya, he added.
