U.S. Panel to Meet Next Week to Discuss Market Events

The Financial Stability Oversight Council will hold a meeting next week to discuss “all important market developments,” the U.S. Treasury said in an e-mailed statement today.

The FSOC, which is chaired by Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner, will meet on May 22. The Treasury did not provide any other agenda details.
