Egyptian Stocks: Egyptian Resorts, Maridive & Oil Services
Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 Index (EGX30) fell for a third day, losing 1 percent to 4,955.31, the lowest level in almost two weeks, at the 2:30 p.m. close in Cairo.
The following shares were active on the Egyptian Exchange. Stock symbols follow company names.
Egyptian Resorts Co. (EGTS) retreated 0.9 percent to 1.1 Egyptian pounds, the lowest close since May 7. The Red Sea resorts developer posted a first-quarter loss of 5.51 million pounds ($910,000) after a profit of 1.26 million pounds a year earlier.
Maridive & Oil Services SAE (MOIL) declined 3.3 percent, the most in more than two months, to $1.19. The Cairo-based offshore services provider recorded a first-quarter loss of $947,036 after a profit of $18.9 million a year earlier.
