Export-Import Bank of China Has $11 Billion of Shipping Loans

Export-Import Bank of China has an $11 billion shipping-loan portfolio and ranks 15th among lenders to the global industry, the head of its shipping-finance division said.

The bank has 100 shipowner clients, including foreigners, said Gao Zefeng, director of its Shipping Finance Division II, Transport-Finance Department. He spoke today at a conference in London.
