Peru Stocks: Aceros Arequipa, Alicorp, Candente, Pomalca
The following companies are having unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 12:31 p.m. in Lima.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) slid 0.5 percent to 21,657.29. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index lost 0.6 percent to 2,784.26.
Volcan Cia. Minera SAA (VOLCABC1 PE), Peru’s largest silver and zinc producer, dropped 2.9 percent to 3.04 soles, the worst performer on the Lima General Index, as silver declined in New York.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian mining exploration company with operations in Peru, declined 1.4 percent to 70 cents after copper fell in New York.
Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious-metals miner, retreated 1.7 percent to $38.25 as gold headed for its biggest weekly drop since March in New York.
