ING Names Former Annuity Executive Smith Chief U.S. Risk Officer

ING Groep NV (INGA), the biggest Dutch financial-services company, named Michael Smith chief risk officer of its U.S. operations.

Smith was previously the chief executive officer of ING U.S.’s annuity business, the Amsterdam-based firm said today in a statement distributed by PR Newswire.
