SFR SA, Vivendi SA (VIV)’s French mobile- phone unit, will set up a company to offer cloud-computing services with computer maker Bull (BULL) SA, Les Echos reported, without saying where it got the information.
France is backing the project through a stake purchase by state investment company Caisse des Depots et Consignations, the newspaper said. SFR will own 47 percent, Bull 20 percent and CDC 33 percent of the company, with a capital of 225 million euros ($291 million), according to Les Echos.
