Jastrzebska Jumps Most in Two Weeks as Profit Beats Estimates

Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa SA (JSW), the European Union’s largest coking-coal producer, rose the most in almost two weeks after reporting better-than-expected profit in the first quarter.

The shares climbed as much as 3.2 percent to 93 zloty, the steepest gain since April 27, and traded 2.6 percent higher at 92.5 zloty as of 9:04 a.m. local time.

Net income fell to 494.8 million zloty ($150.8 million) from 608 million zloty a year earlier. The mean estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg was 467.1 million zloty.
