Empresa Distribuidora & Comercializadora Norte SA (EDN) jumped a record 22 percent to 0.93 peso. Argentina’s largest power distributor has increased 46 percent in the last two days after Buenos Aires-based newspaper El Cronista said the government is studying a nationalization of power wholesaler Cammesa.
Cia de Transporte de Energia Electrica en Alta Tension Transener SA (TRAN AF), the operator of the country’s national power grid, gained 15 percent to 0.82 peso.
