Israel Stocks: Camtek Ltd. and Magic Software Advance

Israel’s TA-25 index retreated to the lowest intraday level since April 18, declining 0.5 percent to 1,141.39 at the 1:28 p.m. in Tel Aviv.

The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Camtek Ltd. (CAMT) gained 1.4 percent, the most since May 3, to 9.22 shekels. The maker of optical-inspection systems said it received repeat orders totaling $5 million from a U.S.- based integrated device manufacturer.

Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (MGIC) rose 2.6 percent to 24.36 shekels. The software technology company said first- quarter profit rose to $4.2 million from $3.1 million a year earlier. Revenue increased to $30 million, beating the $29.3 million estimate of Maxim Group LLC and Rodman & Renshaw LLC, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
