Poland’s WIG20 Index (WIG20) slid 0.7 percent to a one-week low of 2210.08 at the close in Warsaw, falling for the third day.

Astarta Holding NV (AST) , the Ukrainian agricultural company and producer of refined sugar, advanced as much as 5.8 percent and closed 0.6 percent higher at a two-week high of 61.20 zloty after saying it plans to buy back its shares.
Bank Ochrony Srodowiska SA (BOS) , the Polish state-owned bank that finances environment protection projects, slumped 13.2 percent to 39.28 zloty, to the lowest level in almost 10 years as stocks from its new issue began trading in Warsaw. The lender sold 6.5 million shares at 35 zloty each last month to raise funds for expansion.
