Hellenic Petroleum Said to Issue Tender to Sell May Diesel

Hellenic Petroleum SA (ELPE), Greece’s largest refiner, issued a tender to sell one cargo of diesel in May, according to two people who received the document.

The tender is for 30,000 metric tons of ultra-low-sulfur diesel for loading either from the Greek port of Elefsis or the Aspropyrgos refinery, the people said today. No traders or media relations officials were available, said a person who answered the phone today at Hellenic’s office in Athens.

The tender details are as follows:

Loading:    May 18 to May 23
Ports:      Elefsis or Aspropyrgos
Closes:     May 3
