CTC Media’s Moscow Audience Falls in Week to April 29, TNS Says
CTC Media Inc. (CTCM)’s average daily share of viewers in Moscow aged 18-years-old and above fell to 5.4 percent in the week to April 29, knocking it down one level in the audience rankings, data compiled by TNS-Global show.
The share of viewers in Moscow for the CTC TV channel, the Nasdaq-listed Russian media company’s biggest source of revenue, fell from 6 percent in the week to April 22, data researcher TNS-Global said in an e-mail today. NTV Television, Pervyi Kanal, Rossiya-1, TNT and REN TV all ranked ahead of CTC among Moscow viewers, TNS-Global data show.
The average daily audience among viewers four-years-old and over in Moscow for CTC fell to 6.2 percent in the week to April 29 from 6.6 percent in the previous week, the data show. CTC retained its fifth rank in this category of viewers in the week to April 29, while NTV Television, Pervyi Kanal, Rossiya-1 and TNT all scored ahead of CTC, TNS-Global said.
