Pound Extends Decline Versus Euro After U.K. PMI Data
The pound extended a decline against the euro, weakening 0.5 percent to 81.97 pence as of 9:34 a.m. London time.
Sterling fell 0.2 percent versus the dollar to $1.6198 after a report showed U.K. PMI manufacturing fell to 50.5 in April from a revised 51.9 a month earlier.
