Istanbul Consumer Prices Rose 2.6 Percent in April, Chamber Says

Consumer prices in Istanbul rose a monthly 2.6 percent in April, the city’s chamber of commerce said.
Annual inflation accelerated to 9.99 percent last month from 9.90 percent in March, the chamber said in an e-mailed statement today.
The statistics office in Ankara is due to publish national inflation data for April on May 3.
