Heat Beat Knicks 104-94 to Lead NBA Playoff Series 2-0 in Games

The Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks 104-94 to lead their National Basketball Association first-round playoff series by two games to none.

Dwyane Wade scored 25 points, Chris Bosh added 21 and LeBron James contributed 19 for the Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. Carmelo Anthony had a game-high 30 points for the Knicks.

The best-of-seven series resumes with Game 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York on May 3.

The Knicks have now lost 12 straight playoffs games, tying the Memphis Grizzlies for the most consecutive postseason defeats in the NBA.

Also tonight, the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder seek to take 2-0 leads in their series, against the Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks respectively.
