Tata Power Said to Buy Low-Sulfur Fuel Oil Shipments From Vitol

Tata Power Co. (TPWR), India’s largest non-state utility, bought two cargoes of low sulfur fuel oil from Vitol Group for loading between April to June, according to three traders with knowledge of the transactions.
Details of the company’s purchase are:

Product: Fuel oil with 0.3 percent sulfur content
Quantity: Two cargoes of 25,000-tons each
Loading: End-April; May to June
Price: About $160 a ton premium against benchmark
Singapore prices for the May to June cargo.
