Repsol Considers Sale of 10% in Brazil Unit, Economista Says

Repsol YPF SA (REP) is considering the sale of a 10 percent stake in its Brazilian unit as part of its strategic plan for 2012 to 2016, El Economista said, citing unidentified people with knowledge of the matter.
The Madrid-based oil company may raise $2.2 billion from the transaction, the newspaper reported based on calculations from analysts at Citigroup Inc.
