Hollande Says Jouyet May Be Assigned ‘Missions,’ Parisien Says
Jean-Pierre Jouyet, chairman of France’s financial-markets regulator, may be “useful for missions,” French Socialist Francois Hollande, the leading presidential candidate, said in an interview with Le Parisien.
Hollande opposes giving any ministerial jobs to people who have served under President Nicolas Sarkozy, Le Parisien reported. Jouyet was Sarkozy’s European Affairs Minister for one year.
