Chile Seeking to Boost Natural Gas Supplies, La Tercera Reports

Chile is seeking to boost liquefied natural gas supplies to help avoid power cuts as a growing economy increases energy demand, La Tercera reported, citing the Energy Ministry.

The government is looking for additional energy sources to generate as much as 500 megawatts needed annually starting in 2015, according to the daily.
