Turkey Starts Oil Exploration in Northern Cyprus, Anadolu Says

TPAO AO, Turkey’s state-run oil company, began drilling for oil and gas on the east coast of Turkish held northern Cyprus, Anadolu Agency reported, without saying where it got the information.
TPAO’s exploratory borehole will go as deep as 3,000 meters within the next six months, the Ankara-based news agency said on its website today.
