Thailand Stocks: Aeon Thana Sinsap, Sri Trang Agro, Toyo-Thai

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 10:17 a.m. in Bangkok.

The SET Index (SET) rose 0.3 percent to 1,205.10, headed for the highest close since April 3.

Aeon Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Pcl (AEONTS TB), a credit card and consumer loan company, gained 1.7 percent to 30.75 baht, on course for the highest close since April 3. The company will pay a cash dividend of 1.05 baht a share.

Sri Trang Agro-Industry Pcl (STA) , Thailand’s largest rubber producer, advanced 1 percent to 20.20 baht, headed for the highest close since April 5. Rubber futures gained for a second day, climbing as much as 0.5 percent to 308 yen a kilogram ($3,789 a metric ton) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.

Toyo-Thai Corp. Pcl (TTCL) , a construction company, climbed 2.1 percent to 14.90 baht, poised for the highest close since April 12. The company won two construction contracts valued at a total 2.7 billion baht ($87.3 million) in Vietnam, it said in a regulatory filing.
