Sistema Snaps 4-Day Losing Streak on $300 Million Buyback Plan

AFK Sistema climbed for the first time in five days after the Chief Executive Officer of Russian billionaire Vladimir Evtushenkov’s investment company said the board will consider a $300 million share buyback on May 26.

The shares erased a drop of as much as 1.6 percent, climbing 1.5 percent to 25.32 rubles as of 12:57 p.m. in Moscow.
