Iran has doubled output at its Reshadat oil field to over 20,000 barrels a day after drilling at least two new wells, Press TV reported, citing Iranian Offshore Oil Co. managing director Mahmoud Zirakchianzadeh.
The Reshadat oil field located in the Persian Gulf is expected to produce 40,000 barrels a day once the second phase of its development plan is complete by March 2013, the state-run news channel reported. The offshore field’s target output is 76,000 barrels a day, according to the report published on its website yesterday.
