Gingrich Said to Suspend Presidential Campaign Next Week
Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich will suspend his presidential candidacy next week, according to a person familiar with Gingrich’s plans.
Gingrich has won just two Republican primaries and fell far behind in the delegate count to his party’s presumptive nominee, Mitt Romney.
