Russian Hackers Made $4.5 Billion Last Year, Vedomosti Says
Russian-speaking hackers made $4.5 billion last year, second only to English-speaking hackers, Vedomosti said, citing research by Group IB.
Internet criminals based in Russia made $2.3 billion last year, while Russian-speaking hackers living abroad made $2.2 billion, an estimated 36 percent of the total market, the Moscow-based newspaper said, citing the same study.
