Japan’s Agriculture Ministry Says Checking on U.S. Mad Cow Case

Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is checking on a reported case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, also known as mad cow disease, in the U.S. and will comment later today, said Daisuke Tsukamoto, an official at the ministry’s animal health department.
