Alvarion Rises After Mobile Carrier Uses Wi-Fi Services in China

Alvarion Ltd. (ALVR) rose to the highest level in almost three weeks after the telecommunications equipment maker said a mobile carrier has deployed its Wi-Fi base stations for high-speed internet access in China.

The stock rallied 13.3 percent to 3.22 shekels, the highest intraday level since April 5, at 11:11 a.m. in Tel Aviv.
