Roche Talks to Illumina Rivals After Failed Bid, Sonntag Reports

Roche Holding AG (ROG) is looking for alternatives after its takeover of Illumina failed, Der Sonntag reported without saying where it got the information.

The Basel, Switzerland-based drugmaker is in talks with the research centers of three “large” universities that want to sell their gene-sequencing technologies to Roche, the Aarau, Switzerland-based newspaper said.
