UBS Hires Goldman’s Molin for Hedge-Fund Relationship Post

UBS AG (UBSN)’s equities division for the Americas added Scott Molin, who previously worked at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS), as a managing director in its senior relationship-management team.

Molin will focus on hedge funds, according to an internal employee memo obtained by Bloomberg News. At Goldman Sachs, he was co-head of the firm’s cross assets sales group to hedge funds, and before that worked in equity research sales at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, UBS said in the memo said.

Christiaan Brakman, a spokesman for the Zurich-based bank, declined to comment beyond confirming the memo’s contents.
