Polish Stocks: Bank Handlowy, Solar Company Active in Warsaw

Poland’s WIG20 Index (WIG20) slid 0.3 percent to 2,239.44 at 4:41 p.m. in Warsaw.

The following are among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.

Bank Handlowy SA (BHW) , the local unit of Citigroup Inc., fell 1.9 percent to 76.50 zloty, poised for a five-week low, after Credit Suisse AG downgraded the lender to underperform from neutral.

Solar Company SA (SOL PW), a Polish clothing retailer, gained 6.1 percent to 13.79 zloty after making its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today.
