India’s Steel Authority Seeks to Import 500,000 Tons Coking Coal

Steel Authority of India Ltd., the nation’s second-biggest producer of the alloy, is seeking to buy 500,000 metric tons of coking coal from June to November, according to a tender notice.

The company wants the first shipment by June or July and the minimum quantity is one ship of 75,000 tons, the notice said. Sellers can submit offers by May 14.
